Size Guide

Finding your ideal ring size is simple with our guide. There are two easy ways to get the exact measurement from the comfort of your home:

Measuring an Existing Ring or Measuring Finger Circumference.

Option 1: Measure an Existing Ring (Recommended)

The most accurate method is to measure the inside diameter of a ring that fits you perfectly on the finger where you intend to wear the new ring.

  1. Select the Ring: Choose a ring that you already own and that is comfortable and secure on the intended finger.

  2. Measure the Diameter: Place the ring on a flat surface and use a ruler or measuring tape to measure the inside diameter (the straight distance from one end of the inner band to the other). Important: Do not include the thickness of the metal (the band) in the measurement. Measure only the empty space inside the ring.

  3. Record in Millimeters (mm): Record the value with the highest possible precision, in millimeters (e.g., 17.2 mm).

  4. Consult the Table: Compare your inner diameter with our table to find the corresponding size.

Elizabeth M Jewelry has two types of rings:

  • Free Size Rings: These are adjustable rings (One Size Fits All) that adapt to all sizes. This will be explicitly stated in the ring's description.

  • Rings with Specific Sizes: Models that are available in various specific sizes.

Option 2: Measure the circumference of your finger.

If you don't have a reference ring, you can measure the circumference of your finger. Note: the ring will have to pass over the knuckle of your finger, so measure the widest point.

  1. Prepare the Material: Cut a thin strip of paper (about 5 mm wide) or use string/thread.

  2. Wrap your finger: Wrap the strip of paper or string around the finger where you intend to wear the ring. Make sure it's snug but not too tight.

  3. Mark the Circumference: With a pen, mark the exact point where the end of the strip meets the beginning of the strip (where they overlap).

  4. Measure the Length: Lay the strip of paper or string on a ruler and measure the length between the two marks in millimeters (mm). This is the Perimeter/Circumference of your finger.

  5. Consult the Table: Use this value to find the size in our table.

Useful Tips:

  • When in doubt: If your finger/ring measures between two sizes, always choose the larger size. It's easier to wear a ring that's a little loose (it can be adjusted) than one that doesn't fit at all.

  • Size Variation: Fingers tend to swell slightly throughout the day and in warm weather. Measure at the end of the day when your fingers are at their normal size.

  • Different Hands: The same finger (for example, the ring finger) can be different sizes on the left and right hands. Measure the finger where you intend to wear the ring.
